This
sterling silver St. Christopher pendant is encased in a charming box, comes
with a stainless steel , lite curb chain and has the dimensions of 3/4" X
3/4". The St. Christopher medallion
features the saint with Jesus on his shoulders, using a staff to wade through
the water. In the background are a ship
and lighthouse. Around the edge is the
prayer "St. Christopher, Be My Guide".
St. Christopher used his gift of
strength to assist travelers in crossing a perilous river. One stormy night, he carried Jesus across the
river, but the Christ Child became heavier and heavier, and so at the other
side, Christopher asked the child why he had become so heavy. Our Lord revealed Himself and said that
Christopher had carried the weight of the world on his shoulders. He is the patron saint of motorists and
