St. Camillus of Lellis initially
lived sinfully, but he reformed.
Unfortunately, he could not enter the Capuchins because of an incurable
disease he possessed, so he instead founded a religious order to minister to
the sick in hospitals and on the battlefield.
He is the patron saint of hospitals and nurses.
