About the Authors:
Monsignor Jan Majernik, from Slovakia, holds a doctorate in Sacred Scripture from the Franciscan School of Biblical Studies in Jerusalem and has studied at Hebrew University and the Biblicum. He has been a spiritual director for pilgrims to the Holy Land for 20 years.
Fr. Joseph Ponessa, S.S.D., is a 2000 graduate of the Pontifical University of Biblical Studies in Rome, where he received his doctorate in Sacred Scripture. He now serves as a pastor in the diocese of Great Falls-Billings, Montana. Fr. Ponessa is fluent in thirteen languages, including Hebrew, Greek, Latin, and Aramaic.
Laurie Manhardt holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Detroit and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
